I want to ask you something personal: What does your next chapter look like?
Not the one you’ve been putting off. The one already living inside you. Reply and let me know. I read every response.
Because that version of your life, the one that feels more aligned, more alive, more you, it’s not as far away as it might seem right now.
We sometimes live in the in-between. That tender, uncomfortable space where the old story no longer fits but the new one hasn’t quite been written yet. And what I hear most in that space isn’t confusion or fear; it’s exhaustion. The exhaustion of performing a version of yourself that stopped feeling true a long time ago.
Sound familiar?
Here’s what I want you to know: that feeling isn’t a sign that something is wrong with you. It’s a sign that something is waking up in you.
Viktor Frankl, psychiatrist and author of Man’s Search for Meaning, wrote that the last of human freedoms is the ability to choose your response to any circumstance. Not your circumstances or your past. And not what other people expect of you. It’s your response. Your next move. This is what moves you into your next chapter: your actions and choices.
That freedom belongs to you. Right now. Not when the kids are grown, the job changes, or the timing finally feels right. It’s now. Everything does not have to line up perfectly for you to begin. Just start. Begin by taking one small step each day, and in a month, you’ll see change.
One Question to Ask Yourself
Your next chapter doesn’t start with a perfect plan. It begins with a single honest question: Who do I want to become?
Have the courage to answer it out loud to yourself and without apology. And then take one small action that aligns with your answer. It can be something as simple as making a call or researching a class. Just commit to doing something each day to move your towards who you want to become.
What I want you to know is that most of the big things that have happened in our lives are because we took a lot of small steps toward the goal. We didn’t just show up one day and graduate. We went to school (at least most days) and put in the work to receive the diploma. Same goes for our driver’s license, a promotion, or having kids. It all happened because of all the small steps along the way.
My Why
I started WellMinded Media and wrote every book, blog, and post because I believe that question deserves a genuine answer. And I believe you deserve the tools, the mindset, and the community to actually live it out.
That’s why I show up here every week, writing this blog for you. For the person who is ready to stop drifting and start deciding. It’s time to make the right choices for you so that you can live a happier, more fulfilled, and more purposeful life. Start designing your life by making authentic, intentional choices instead of letting life design it for you.
So let me ask you again: What does your next chapter look like? Reply and let me know. I’d love to hear what you are stepping into!
With love and belief in you,
Lynn
