best Christmas present

Christmas love is found all around this time of year. You just have to look for it.

Christmas and the start of Hanukkah both fall on December 25 this year. These are seasons of love, wonder, joy, and endless possibilities. It’s a time to reflect on what truly matters, to pause and cherish the moments shared with family and friends.

In the hustle and bustle of trying to do it all, we often lose sight of the season’s true magic—joy, love, gratitude, and babies. Nothing compares to the magic of a baby’s first holiday. So much unconditional love, laughter, hope, wonder! Celebrating Thanksgiving this year with a one and two-year-old reminded me of the joy babies and children bring to the holidays. Their curiosity and sense of magic are contagious. Even though I was tired at the end, the joy they brought me made it all worth it.

I was raised to believe in the magic of Christmas. It’s a time to embrace joy, recognize the goodness in the world, and remember that we are all connected. It’s a season to uplift one another, celebrate each other, and find purpose in helping those around us.

I believe in the kindness of humanity—the simple yet profound acts of opening a door, smiling at a stranger, or greeting someone warmly. When we give from the heart, whether big or small, we create ripples of goodness that echo far beyond the moment. That is Christmas and Hanukkah love.

This season invites us to forgive—not just others, but ourselves too—and release the burdens that no longer serve us. The holidays are a time for peace, for letting go of what weighs us down, and for embracing the beauty of the present.

I believe in the spirit of Santa Claus, not just as a figure of holiday lore, but as a symbol of giving. The truest gifts are not material things but the offerings of our time, love, and compassion.

It’s also a time to practice gratitude and love. To be thankful for the blessings of family, friends, and the gift of life itself. I am deeply grateful for all of you, my dear readers, for allowing me to share my thoughts and hopefully inspire you to discover your own joy and gratitude.

At the heart of it all is love. Let your heart guide your actions, not your ego. Treat others as you wish to be treated, and share kindness, compassion, and love wherever you go. When we choose love in our everyday lives, we create a brighter, more joyful world.

Believe in goodness, and you’ll see the magic unfold.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah filled with love, laughter, and joy. May this holiday season bring light and warmth to your heart and home!
