Spring is a symbol of rebirth. It’s a time to refresh or start new. Nature shows us that anything is possible. A plant or tree that looked dead sprouts fresh growth with blossoms, leaves, and branches. Just like nature, we can create new paths in our life that were not there before.

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!” — Audrey Hepburn

The question is, do you believe it’s possible? Believing can be the biggest obstacle we have to overcome to achieving something. Many items we take for granted today were once just a dream, like the cellphone, computer, or car. Someone thought “what if” and in time, that thought turned into reality. Believing is key to achieving.

“Whether you believe you can do a think or not, you are right.” — Henry Ford

By examining our thoughts, we can see if they help us grow or hold us back. It’s difficult to let go of old beliefs and habits, especially if they have been around for years. But it can be done.

When a thought occurs, like “I am not good enough” or “This won’t work” change it to “I am enough” or “This will work.” Or at least switch the thought to the possibility it will work.

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” — Nelson Mandela

At first, we may not believe it, but with practice, we can change negative thoughts and replace them with more positive ones. When we create new thoughts, we create new neuro pathways in the brain. And the more we use these new pathways, the greater chance that these new thoughts become our new go-to thoughts. They become automatic.

If we want to change something in our lives, we must start with our thinking. To conquer our obstacles, belief, and then faith are the keys to success.

“Start by doing what is necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” — St. Francis of Assisi

And once we start, the possibilities are endless. We will end up somewhere that we did not think was possible. But when dare to dream of a new life, the universe helps us and gives more than we could have imagined. Be open to the change. Have faith and let go.

“We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.” — Joseph Campbell

Believe in possibilities, dreams, goals. Believe in your value, your purpose, your worth. And don’t worry about how it will be accomplished. The “how” will come once you begin.

When you open up to possibilities, opportunities open up to you. They are yours for the asking. But first, you must believe!
