One of the best books that I have read this year. It is a psychological thriller with brilliant twists and turns that you won’t see coming. It will blow you away how it is all linked together!

Rock Paper Scissors is a story of a couple whose marriage is on the rocks when they randomly win a trip to Scotland. And the date of the trip is on their tenth anniversary.

Amelia hopes this getaway will solve their marriage problems. It is a make or break weekend. If they can’t fix their issues there probably won’t be an eleventh anniversary. Her husband, Adam, is reluctant to go, and would rather stay home and write screenplays. He hates riding in the car, and an all-day drive to the Scotland Highlands is not something he wants to do. Especially in February with rain and snow. He is a workaholic and has a rare condition, face blindness, where he cannot visually recognize anyone, sometimes his own self.

Each anniversary the couple exchanges traditional gifts—paper, cotton, pottery. And Adam’s wife writes a letter to him each year that she keeps to herself. Until now.

But was the trip randomly won? Who is lying? Who has secrets? This will be an anniversary neither of them will ever forget.
